instead of homework i’m doing up my ‘new’ ipod. actually it’s carl’s old one, but i can now officially have it (i’d been hogging it 80% of the week anyway..) cos he found a broken one and fixed it with his magic ipod skillz. he’s having it cos it seems to be newer and is in better nick than this old one. i think most people give up on their ipods too easily. obviously they’ve never heard of what we call the train ticket trick. (inside both our ipods, there are pieces of train ticket. true story.)

this one has been through a lot. about five death screens / reformatting projects that i know of. and it arrived in the post on the day john peel died. i always tell carl he killed john peel. i’ve just renamed the ipod john peel in his honour. five and a half years and still going strong. <3
